Turtle Crawl Inn - Longboat Key

Expert staff and incredible and amazing location make it a great choice!

The room with a full kitchen. The place had a family atmosphere. Location: the hotel was really close to excellant beach and friendly staff and other clients as well as the Oceanside.

Internet connection was terrible, made me a little nervous.

We stayed for six nights in a beautifully furnished family room that offered fine views of the gulf, making it the perfect backdrop for our morning coffee while being just a short drive from both Joan M Durante Community Park and the Longboat Key Club Moorings, where we enjoyed leisurely strolls among nature.

Angel and the other woman at the front desk were very accomodating! Perfect for extended stay with kids! Landscaping and grounds were kept very clean and nice. Lots of space in the condo for families. Great location!

Not unhappy with Turtle Crawl at all, but owners need to be aware...The refrigerator was beat and the oven needed to be cleaned. A vacuum would have been nice. The dvd player needs to be replaced - wobbly picture during most of movies.

When we arrived, we had reserved two 6person rooms. There was only one avaliable. Right away the clerk made sure that she found us a room . It was a mix up and did not have to wait, she got us another room immediately. This was very good customer service. We appreciated that very much. Would recommend the hotel to others in the future. Thank you very much. The only set back was the seahorse was cheaper in price, but we could not get a room due to them being booked up. So the Turtle Crawl Inn was a substitute and nice. Pricing was a bit higher then other close hotels.

Location and proximity to the beach.

OverpriceD, old and needed updating, our unit had filthy air vents everywhere and chairs whose cushions were old and needed to be updated and replaced as did the TV. Beds however were very comfortable. It has a good rating, so the other units may be in better shape.

We had a studio with a fridge and microwave. Right on the beach. Cute little swimming pool

Unfortunately, there were many seaweeds in the water and on the beach. We just stayed there one night, I don't think I would have stayed longer because there's not much to do in the surroundings. Better for families!

We were pleasantly surprised by the "room" we were given. We were expecting a smallish typical hotel room, but opened the door to a one bedroom apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped so we ate all of our breakfasts in the room. We also had a couple other meals there too. Plenty of room for the two of us and our college-aged daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the Turtle Crawl Inn's beach and joined the volunteers for a turtle watch one morning. Also we had free wifi! Very special place!

It is old but the location is excellent.

We book the hotel for $ 125 per night plus tax and the surprise was that they charge $ 50 extra for service. This is not fair and is not normal when you book via internet and have a confirmation the rate should be the one they advertise. When we made our comments to the FD employee, her answer was we are not a hotel but a condominium.......Their name is "Turtle Crawl Inn" For this reason we would never book it again !!!

Our stay was refreshing! The beach access was amazing, and we loved the clean, spacious unit with great kitchenware. The sunset views from our balcony were stunning. Definitely coming back!

The staff is courteous, informative. Cleanliness. Towels, dishes, kitchenware and all amenities in great supply.

dirty bathroom and dishes..... no closet in bedroom. rug very dirty... air conditioning very, very noisy. ear plugs should be given as a courtesy!!!!

Just a perfect match for taking strolls in Longboat Key with fantastic value. I loved being able to run in and out to the beach from my room.

I loved the quaintness and the view from our room was spectacular. Just a very cozy relaxing environment .

There wast one thing I didn't like except that we didn't spend our second week there as well
